Two years ago today I reached the Dalton Highway, as far north towards the Arctic Circle paved roads can take you in North America.
It was the morning of my 60th birthday when this photo was taken.
My friend Al was first to put forward the idea that it was a trip of a lifetime. I think he was right! The 2018 Ride to the Dalton ride was an epic experience and great way to celebrate a birthday.
