It’s Better In The Wind
I’ve added “It’s Better In The Wind” to my Motorcycle Story Videos playlist. Good footage, cool bikes, great music, and some background on the riders. “When we started it was all about finding something new, finding something out of our comfort zone that really helped us to understand where we wanted to go in our lives.” – It’s Better In The Wind Continue reading It’s Better In The Wind
Day Ride to Leavenworth
Earlier this summer, forest fires closed access to a favorite day ride. The roads have since reopened and on this beautiful September Saturday my friend Will and I hit the road to Leavenworth. This loop is approximately 260 miles. The ride took us a little over six hours. Stops included gas in Sultan, lunch in Leavenworth, and ice cream in Cle Elum. Central Leavenworth is modeled after … Continue reading Day Ride to Leavenworth

Reflections on the Summer Season

Livewire video
Electric motorcycles intrigue me and the engineering behind them inspire me.  Models currently being produced include two versions of the  Brammo Empulse, four options from  Zero Motorcycles, and two limited production bikes from Mission Motorcycles. Harley Davidson’s prototype electric motorcycle, called Livewire, appears to be a near-future option. In this video, Harley Davidson loaned a Livewire to adventure rider Alex Chacón for a week. I added the video Alex made to my Inspirational Videos playlist. Continue reading Livewire video
