Late Spring Ride to Desolation Sound
In late May or early June, I’m planning on a motorcycle adventure around lower Vancouver Island, Desolation Sound and BC’s Sunshine Coast.
I’ll start from Seattle and take the Port Angeles ferry to Victoria. There, I’ll join up with a Canadian friend as we explore the coast before heading inland to camp. Lund, BC and Desolation Sound is our northern-most destination (see map above).
Motorcycling south along the Sunshine Coast, possibly with a couple other riders, we may head north up Highway 99 to Lillooet as an alternative to returning straight back to Seattle.
This ride will involve some camping, so I’ll have that gear with me, along with rain gear.
