I stayed overnight at La Posada on Day 31 of my Western States Tour. It was a notable and favorite hotel experience. I stayed upstairs in the Gary Cooper room. I had a fabulous drink or two in the bar before and after I completed the self guided tour of the hotel grounds. Artwork, including a piece by James Franco, overflowed the gallery upstairs into the entire hotel, but the restaurant was a highlight of my adventure.
